Born to Race – Honda CBR1000RR-R Fireblade SP 2021

A motorcycle born for motorcycle racing. The Honda CBR 1000RR has thrilled motorcyclists for years, and the manufacturer continues to pursue technical excellence. The brand new Honda CBR1000RR-R Fireblade is now on the track. Three Rs hint that the energy charge is threefold. Let’s take a look at what to expect from the new 2021 product.

The bike is considered the closest brother of the Honda Racing Corporation (HRC) MotoGP RC213V-S (road legal). Engineers and designers have dug into the Fireblade and have added brother-style track features to maximize efficiency. This is how titanium connecting rods, forged aluminum pistons and updated pushrods were born.

In total, the new engine is a liquid-cooled 999cc DOHC inline-four. The engine delivers 164.5 horsepower at 12,000 rpm. The digital speedometer is limited to a point of 300 km / h. There are persistent rumors that the bike has enough powder to overcome the 300 km / h mark.

The 200 kg motorcycle has an extended swingarm that gives extra stability when accelerating. In addition, we see a semi-active Öhlins NPX fork and a TTX 36 shock absorber in the suspension.

Do not forget that a motorcycle, having all the genes of a thoroughbred track bike, can go into the city with the same ease and sharpness of control. The reversible quickshifter makes shifting gears easy and effortless.

Users will appreciate the customizable damper mode, which consists of three types: track, sport and rain. If desired, the damper can be turned off altogether and ride on a standard suspension without helpers.

The aerodynamic body is distinguished by the presence of fairings in the form of additional “wings”. According to the manufacturer, they are taken from the 2018 RC213V racing car prototype. The look is complemented by an Akrapovič titanium exhaust.

The motorcycle rustles on Pirelli Diablo Supercorsa SP V3 tires and brakes with Brembo Stylema calipers.

The 5-inch TFT dashboard will guide the driver with all the information they need, including adjusting the suspension, traction, engine power, and ABS controls. The motorcycle obeys in a keyless manner.

For the 2021 CBR1000 RR-R Fireblade SP model, the price will be from 2,483,900 rubles. The CBR1000 RR-R Fireblade 2021 will cost less – from 2,215,900 rubles.
