It looks like a big change is coming again in Milwaukee. Along with the already famous events – the new CEO, the Hardwire plan and more – Harley Davidson has introduced Gina Götter as the new CFO, taking office on September 30, 2020. Gina is expected to bring to the company a wealth of experience in finance for international food companies, in which she has steadily climbed the career ladder since 2008.
Harley Davidson’s new CFO Gina Goette
Gina’s most recent position was Senior Vice President Finance, Finished Products, Tyson Foods. Prior to that, she held a variety of finance positions at General Mills, eventually spending from 2017 to 2019 as Vice President of Finance for Ready Meals and Bakeries.
Gina is a seasoned CFO with experience transforming key processes and improving operational efficiency, building a global shared services model and modernizing accounting and control, ”said Jochen Zeitz, chairman, president and chief executive officer of Harley Davidson.
She will contribute to the fresh perspectives and new opportunities presented at the management level, and will be part of our management team, structured in a special way to increase interest in the Harley Davidson brand and lead the company to prosperity.
Interim CFO Darrell Thomas will remain vice president and treasurer of the company.
As usual, we cannot predict what the future holds for the company. All we can talk about right now is that Harley Davidson has a new financial director, and this is because the company should not have continued to do business the way it used to be for a long time. So let’s hope that the changes the new team is making will actually lead the company to the desired results.
