Updates at MV Agusta Research Center
The design studios and offices at the MV Agusta Engineering and Design Center in San Marino have been renovated and reconfigured into a completely new workspace for the company’s technical and design departments. Both divisions have been merged to streamline and accelerate design and new product development workflows. The new research center has received additional funding to acquire modern high-tech equipment and tools that will allow a team of 30 highly skilled designers and constructors to work in virtual and physical workspaces, easily switching between them.
In addition to Brian Gillen, who headed the research center, the team was joined by Giorgio Mazzotti, Alessandro Volpini, and Stefan Zash as chief designer. Zach, a French designer with impressive experience in the motorcycle industry, has gained his unique skills working with many major motorcycle manufacturers.
The innovations at the research center aim to create a new work environment that stimulates the creativity and efficiency of our extremely talented team, which forms the backbone of our institution, known and respected throughout the world. I am delighted to welcome Stefan Zasch as a valued member of the leadership of the R&D team, ”said Brian Gillen, Director of MV Agusta Design Bureau and R&D Center. – To invent, draw, design and assemble the most beautiful motorcycles in the world – this is the essence and task of our IC. I am incredibly proud to be at the head of this great team, moving the motorcycle industry into the future.
